Labour Councillors Karen McGowan and Mary Lea along with Julie Gledhill joined Hackenthorpe Litter Pickers. Litter was cleared from Dyke Vale Road and the Silkstone Road areas. Councillor Karen McGowan said “what an amazing job these volunteers do in helping to keep out community clean of litter. We are grateful to the Hackenthorpe Litter Pickers and all the other groups across our city that do this work week in week out – THANK YOU”
